About: Britt is a PhD candidate in sociocultural anthropology. Their dissertation project investigates the growth of Islamic institutions in Tijuana, Mexico, and how Mexican converts to Islam and international migrants build such institutions as they navigate life and crisis in the Mexican borderlands. Britt holds an MA in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago and is a former assistant editor of the Journal of Palestine Studies.
