Ale Geisel-Zamora

Ale Geisel-Zamora is a PhD student in Biological Anthropology interested in how environmental and social adversities influence minority health disparities. Prior to her doctoral studies, she graduated from Dartmouth College in 2023 with a B.A. in anthropology. Her research stems from previous experiences studying social support and postpartum depression during the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the physiological stress response among young adults living in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland), Aotearoa New Zealand, respectively.
