Dr. Seth Holmes, Professor of Medical Anthropology, was awarded the William T. Grant Mentoring Award, which will support his mentoring of Fabian Fernandez and Carlos Martinez, both PhD students in the Joint Medical Anthropology Program. The William T. Grant Mentoring Award aims to strengthen the mentoring of junior researchers of color and to position them for professional success. The award also seeks to support scholars in developing a stronger understanding of the career development issues facing junior colleagues of color.
