The American Anthropological Association awarded Dr. Charles Briggs and Dr. Clara Mantini-Briggs the Robert B. Textor and Family Prize for Excellence in
Anticipatory Anthropology. This award is given annually to reward an American Anthropological Association member’s excellent contributions to the use of anthropological perspectives, theories, models, and methods in an anticipatory mode.
