Mesoamerican Studies, Mexican History, Digital Methods, Field Methods, Transdisciplinary

About:

My dissertation focuses on agrarian reform in rural Mexico and it is based on a significant collection archaeological, historical and ethnographic research materials I obtained over ten-months of fieldwork in the state of Querétaro, Mexico in 2018-2019.

I am an anthropological archaeologist by training, but have since developed more of a transdisciplinary orientation in terms of research and writing. I have a strong interest in the social life and cultures of Mesoamerica, past and present, agrarian trajectories in post-colonial Mexico and digital preservation and perspectival interpretation of research materials/experiences obtained through the course of fieldwork.
