Each year, EH&S and the Office of the Vice Chancellor of Research formally recognize eight labs that demonstrate outstanding safety cultures. It takes both continuous attention and shared responsibility to uphold safety standards in our campus research facilities. This award program acknowledges and lifts up the hard work that principal investigators, lab safety coordinators, staff, and researchers play in ensuring that safety is part of science.
