The Center for Digital Archaeology (CoDA) has published some summer updates, including an article on Professer Emerita Ruth Tringham's recent presentation on 3-D archaeological modelling at April's "Modeling Culture: 3D Archaeology and the Future of the Past" conference in Santa Cruz. The presentation details a constructive criticism of current paradigms in digital archaeological modeling, and her slides are available at the link below. Ruth Tringham is the president of CoDA, which is a 501(c)3 founded in 2011 to "help communities, archaeologists, and cultural resource managers capture, preserve, and share digital content." More information on CoDA can be found at their website, in addition to Professor Tringham's recent publication.
