I report the grand news that Stanley Brandes is to be awarded an honorary Doctorate in Philosophy by the Universidad Nacional de Educacion a Distancia of Madrid in recognition of his distinguished career. The investiture will take place at a solemn academic ceremony celebrating the feast of St. Thomas Aquinas on January 29, 2015.
I know you join me in congratulating Stanley on this great tribute. It is an occasion for celebration.
