Laura Nader's dedication to teaching and research recognized by The Daily Clog

November 2, 2017

The Daily Californian's blog, The Daily Clog, published a short list of the many accomplished professors here at UC Berkeley who truly deserve more recognition. Among them is our very own Professor of Anthropology, Laura Nader. Professor Nader has been a longtime favorite among students from across the campus, many of whom she has drawn into anthropology through her life-changing courses on controlling processes and the anthropology of law and energy. The Clog article, written by Hailey Johnson, states:

"Laura Nader

Nader was the first woman to receive tenure in the anthropology department at UC Berkeley. She has published more than 280 books and journals and won nine prestigious awards for her work, including the Kalven Prize from the Law and Society Association for her research on law and society."
