Anthropology Graduate Organization for Research and Action

The Anthropology Graduate Organization for Research and Action (A.G.O.R.A.) is an organization run by current Anthropology graduate students. Its activities vary from year to year depending on the goals of the students involved at the time. Some goals of A.G.O.R.A. in the past have been to develop community among the subdisciplines, represent student concerns to faculty, and help with orientation and mentoring of incoming students.

Members of A.G.O.R.A. in Spring 2002 wrote an open letter to prospective graduate students. Many A.G.O.R.A. members volunteered to be contacts for individuals seeking information about Berkeley Anthropology.
